Questions

Good to know

Is Word Duel free?

Yes, Word Duel is free to play. Optional purchases remove the ads (monthly, or once and for all) or buy coins, which give you one more heart on a word. Coins are never required to play. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy.

Do I need an account?

Not to play solo: just open the app and play. An account lets you duel friends, get matched with rivals, show up on the leaderboard and keep your progress with you. Your solo progress carries over when you sign up.

How is a duel decided?

You and your opponent face the same words, with two minutes each per word. Points come from how fast you solve, how few letters you waste, and whether you got there without a single miss. The higher total wins, and everyone gets a rating on the leaderboard.

Which languages can I play in?

English, French and Spanish. Pick your language and the words, keyboard and the whole app follow. Accents are optional while you play; the answer shows them at the end.
